WHO AM I?

The truth is, I am not the best chef in the room, I am not a nutritionist or a person who avoids eating out. I am just a mum. I am a mum who once actually dreamed of being in this position. You know… cooking for my family. It was in my first pregnancy I became really aware of food. Aware of how much I wanted to eat everything and anything. Nine months later I realised not only did I birth a baby but now I had to work off the extra food I consumed that went no where beneficial.

I fell pregnant again with our rainbow baby and spent another nine months being proactive about everything I ate. You know I wanted to still enjoy food but I didn’t want to regret it nine months later and look at my body in disappointment so I documented everything I cooked, everything I ate and am proud of the body that birthed two babies and is smaller today than it was before babies!

This recipe eBook is a collection of all the whole food I ate during pregnancy and beyond to nourish my body.

    For someone who suffers with a sensitive tummy these recipes make food exciting again. The food makes you feel good without being bland and boring or making me bloat like a balloon. I was surprised to find the ingredients didn’t break the bank either. I’ve always found it hard to eat healthy exciting meals without it costing a fortune so this was a very nice surprise.     I LOVE cooking, but the foods I know and love to cook have never really been of the healthy variety. I debated buying this recipe book for a while because I wasn’t sure if it would be my thing since it’s a healthy cookbook, but now I’m a mum struggling to lose the last of my baby weight (thanks to always eating delicious, but unhealthy meals) I finally bought the book yesterday and was so pleasantly surprised! I found that a lot of my favourite foods were in here, but cooked with healthier ingredients, and other foods that looked delicious and were also healthy and most of all easy and QUICK to cook (because I don’t have time anymore to cook for hours when I have a baby that wants to cluster feed or only enjoys being out of my arms for a few minutes lol). I’ve already cooked one dish for lunch and it was delicious, so I can’t wait to try the rest! 😀

    So many places claim “Quick, Easy, Nutritional and Yummy” but it is never that simple. Well, until now! This Ebook is amazing! Hubby and I are doing it together and we are as excited for meal times because we can’t wait to see what awesome meal we are having. The 8 week meal plan is an amazing way to start as well if you don’t have the confidence to put your own meal plan together just yet.     LOVE LOVE LOVE , I was so sick of getting so excited for healthy recipes only to find that I would only shop once for the things I needed or not at all as there were too many things on the list and I couldn’t afford it or I just couldn’t be bothered running around the grocery store struggling to find all of the ingredients with 3 children , all the recipes are simple and don’t have a lot of ingredients.
    My life is already busy enough and with these recipe’s it make’s my meals easy and delicious all whilst being healthy and making me feel fantastic .
