Sheppards Pie

Sheppards Pie

One of the easiest go-to meals is a sheppards pie! I love that this meal is so tasteful but yet pretty healthy for you and your family. It lasts a fair few days too, because it makes so much!

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

Ingredients:

  • Lean Turkey Mince (cook through in pan)
  • Sweet potato x 2 (boil in water then mash with almond milk & dairy free butter)
  • Frozen mix of peas, corns & carrot
  • Brown Rice (pre-cooked pack)

Base Ingredients (for sauce):

  • GF soy sauce
  • GF worcester sauce
  • GF plain flour
  • Beef stock
  • GF tomato sauce (optional – try make sure its sugar free or low sugar!)

Add all Base ingredients including the frozen mix and brown rice to your cooked turkey mince until it holds together nicely. ¬†Dish into a baking dish lined with baking paper, add your sweet potato mash layered on top and bake in oven for 10 minutes. ¬†(Don’t mind my serving sizes below that appear extremely large, it was to feed a hungry working human man ha ha!)image4.jpeg
